New York's Premiere Film Festival
I look forward to the quintessential New York Tribeca Film Festival each year. Do you have any information about it?
It's that time again. New York's annual celebration of film, music and culture. The Tribeca Film Festival, known for it's international diversity, helps filmmakers reach a broad audience to experience the power of cinema and promotes New York City as a major filmmaking center.
The Festival starts April 22nd with the world premiere of Woody Allen's highly anticipated, Whatever Works, a comedy shot in NYC starring Larry David, Evan Rachel Wood, Patricia Clarkson and Ed Bagley, Jr. If you miss this one, there are 130 other films to see that showcase new and emerging voices in film.
Robert De Niro's Tribeca Film Festival isn't only about the movies...it also supports the community by providing free public events that draw people and businesses to downtown NYC. The free events include a Kick-off Party, Drive-in Outdoor Screenings, a Street Fair, Tribeca/ESPN Sports Day and Panel Discussions.
The Tribeca Film Festival runs through May 3rd and tickets are now on sale.
