New York Tutor Harriet Chwatsky

New York City tutor Harriet Chwatsky promises to make your children shine even brighter in their academic pursuits. This gifted educator has over 25 years of experience tutoring. In addition to working as a substitute teacher at some of Manhattan's most prestigious schools, Ms. Chwatsky also worked at a homebound program in Long Island.

Harriet Chwatsky graduated with a degree in elementary education from Arcadia University, after which she taught grade school for 6 years. She later went on to get her Masters Degree in Social Work in addition to her Masters in Special Education. She did a great deal of work with programs for children with disabilities including autism or Down Syndrome, before opening her own psychotherapy practice (which she still operates today).

Harriet Chwatsky specializes in working with grade school children. She is available to tutor students up until the eighth grade. Ms. Chwastsky excels in mathematics – as she was a math minor in college – and is also able to help with enhancing reading skills. Ms. Chwastky states that she strives for "serious learning but with a fun element interjected.
I feel that it's important to build self confidence as well as academic skills." Harriet Chwatsky is available for tutoring throughout the Manhattan area and is in the Hamptons from June through Labor Day.
