Wine as a hostess gift might seem a bit cliché, but it's certainly convenient—and when dashing out the door in stilettos and sequins, convenience is key. Not to get all Emily Post on you, but a word on wine etiquette—if you bring wine to a party, mention to the hosts if the bottle is for them to enjoy privately. Where can I find a great bottle of wine for under $20?

Best Cellars, located at 1291 Lexington Ave at 87th St. in New York City has a great selection of wines. Out of 100 selections almost every bottle is under $15. Wines are color coded under the categories of fizzy, fresh, soft, luscious, juicy, smooth, big, and sweet, so it's easy to find the exact taste you are looking for. Every Monday thru Friday Best Cellars hosts a wine tasting from 5pm to 8pm. Best Cellars features free wine and food pairings from some of New York City's best chefs on Saturdays between 2pm and 4pm.
